![]() All One Story!
The last part of the last book reads like the close of the
story begun in the 1st part of the 1st book of the Bible.
The beginnings of Genesis have their ultimate fulillment
in the Book of Revelations.
In Genesis 1, for example, God creates the heavens and the
earth, but in Revelation 21, He creates the new heaven and
new earth.
From cover to cover, the Bible presents a consistent picture
of the One true God, the cause of mankind's troubles (sin),
and the universal remedy (the Savior, God's Son).
The Old Testament prepares the world for the Savior promised
immediately after the 1st human sin (Genesis 3:15).
The New Testament presents the Savior's 1st coming to the
world, His perfect life and sacrifice for sin, and the
changes He makes in individuals who will receive Him. His
2nd coming is to establish a perfect world that is promised
and certain (Revelations 22:20)
Only God could have given such a book, so marked by consistency
and lacking any unsolvable contradiction.
