Salvation

The foundation of any Church should be a belief in being born again; that is, accepting Jesus Christ as one's own personal Savior and being washed by His precious blood (Romans 10:9-10). The born again experience is not preferential; it is a must. The Pastor should give altar calls in which people walk down the aisles to accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior. By that I do not mean joining a Church; I mean asking Jesus into their heart to wash away their sins by His precious blood and becoming a member of the Body of Christ by being born again. There is a vast difference.

The Pastor should preach evangelistic messages that will touch the heart. There should be a spontaneity of praise flow through the congregation from time to time. If the Church you attend frowns upon people worshipping God and lifting hands in praise and adoration to the Lord Jesus or saying "Amen" or "Thank the Lord" or "Hallelujah" or "Praise God," you are attending the wrong kind of Church irrespective of the name on the door.
