![]() Divine Healing
Any Church that endeavors to follow the New Testament pattern should be a Church that believes and teaches that Jesus Christ heals the sick (James 5:14). There should be special times when the Pastor and the elders of the Church call for those who need prayer and anoint those people with oil according to the Word of God and believe for them to be healed. They should expect healing; they should expect miracles. Actually, any Church that is following the New Testament pattern will see these things in their regular services.
Many times Evangelists who labor in the field of praying for the sick and believing God for miracles receive much attention regarding this matter; but there are scores of Godly Pastors who never write books or publish monthly magazines or anything of this nature who see just as many healings, just as many miracles, as some Evangelists. They do so simply because they follow the Word of Almighty God and are reaping its eternal and gracious benefits. If your Church insists that these things are not for today and it neither practices or desires them, you should find another Church home.
